The City Council is scheduled to convene on Wednesday for its routine work and legislative sessions, alongside a ceremonial session in the evening.

During the 1 p.m. work session, council members will review polling results from the I Value surveys. These surveys have collected resident feedback on the budget for Fiscal Year 2026. Additionally, there will be a briefing on preliminary revenue estimates. The Electoral Board is set to present its recommendations concerning potential changes to precincts and polling places, following an earlier presentation of possible modifications.

At 6 p.m., a ceremonial session will be held to honor a new display at the Hampton History Museum that highlights the former Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind. This exhibit includes photographs and information about the school's history, with materials also available in Braille.

The legislative session at 6:30 p.m. will feature a briefing on Hampton's involvement in the Bloomberg American Sustainable Cities initiative. As one of 25 U.S. cities selected for this three-year program launched in March 2024, Hampton aims to address its specific challenges through this initiative.

These meetings are accessible to the public at City Hall, located at 22 Lincoln St., on the eighth floor chambers. They can also be viewed live on local television channels Cox 47 and Verizon 22 or streamed online at hampton.gov/livetv.
