ERC announces weekly lane closure schedule for late November

A series of lane closures have been announced for the Elizabeth River Crossings (ERC) facilities, scheduled from November 22 to November 29. These closures are subject to change based on weather conditions. Updates can be followed on Twitter @DriveERT.

For Interstate 264, a two-right lane closure will occur eastbound from Frederick Blvd. to Effingham St. on Friday, November 22, from 7 p.m. until 11 a.m. the next day. On Sunday, November 24, the left lane will be closed eastbound in the same area from 7 a.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.

Additionally, alternating lane closures are planned for I-264 East and West between Frederick Blvd. and Effingham St., starting Monday, November 25 through Tuesday, November 26, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

On the MLK Expressway, US Route 58 East will experience alternating lane closures from London Blvd. to just before the Midtown Tunnel eastbound on Monday and Tuesday nights during the same hours as above. Similarly, US Route 58 West will see alternating closures from after the Midtown Tunnel westbound to London Blvd.
