Newport News, a city known for its vibrant culture and community, is set to launch a new summer concert series titled "Drop The Mic". This event will be held in the emerging Yard District and aims to offer residents and guests an opportunity to discover musical acts while enjoying unique brews, spirits, and food.

The concert series will take place every Thursday from 6 - 8 p.m., with the inaugural event scheduled at Victory Landing Park. However, the festivities are not confined to the park alone. Activities and energy are expected to extend down 23rd Street where local businesses will have special offerings. Food trucks will also be present, selling items that attendees can enjoy along Restaurant Row or while taking in the stunning sunset views at the park.

The city encourages people of all ages to participate in this exciting summer event. In addition to the music and food, attendees can look forward to an array of activities that promise fun-filled evenings.
