Hampton University issued the following announcement on Jan. 28
In celebration of Hampton University 129th Founders’ Day, the Committee on Ceremonial Occasions would like to share with you a virtual tribute to our founder, General Samuel Chapman Armstrong.
The virtual program features a Founders' Day address from Hampton University President, Dr. William R. Harvey, a 21 gun salute from the HU Army & Navy ROTC cadets and a prayer from HU chaplain, Dr. Debra Haggins.
