CITY OF PORTSMOUTH: STARBASE Summer Camps are Back!

Summer

City of Portsmouth issued the following announcement on June 15.

STARBASE Victory announces they will be holding camps this summer and are ready to engage campers in exciting hands-on STEM fun! Thanks to incredible donors and staff, STARBASE Summer Camps give Portsmouth students the opportunity to learn while having fun and to develop the many skills and experiences they have learned during the school year.

STARBASE requires a $5.95 nonrefundable registration fee for all campers. Parents, guardians and other caregivers will need to provide transportation to and from the summer camps. Funded fully by STARBASE, each camp runs multiple days, includes an exciting field trip, and serves as an extension of their STEM education.

Students are signed up on a first come, first serve basis and placed into camps that target their preparation for the next grade level.

The camps will be offered in four sessions:

 Session A: June 28 – July 1

 Session B: July 12 – July 15

 Session C: July 19 – July 22

 Session D: July 26 – July 29
