The City Council will convene on Wednesday for its regular 1 p.m. work session and 6:30 p.m. legislative session, which will feature a public hearing for residents to discuss the city’s housing and development needs.
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) mandates this public hearing as a platform for residents to provide input or ask questions about the city’s Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report.
During the work session, there will be a briefing on potential locations for a proposed miniature golf course in Hampton.
Prior to the legislative meeting, a spotlight ceremony at 6 p.m. will recognize the Office of Youth and Young Adult Opportunities for its efforts in preventing community violence.
These meetings are open to the public and will take place in chambers on the eighth floor of City Hall, located at 22 Lincoln St. They will also be broadcast on Cox channel 47 and Verizon channel 22, as well as streamed live at hampton.gov/livetv.
