There were 1,432 Hispanic students enrolled in Hampton City Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 1.6% more than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Hampton City Public Schools District welcomed 19,661 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 7.3% of the student body to be the fourth most represented ethnicity in the school.

Hampton City Public Schools District roughly covers schools within Hampton City and has a main office in Hampton.

Among the 30 schools in Hampton City Public Schools District, Bethel High School recorded the highest enrollment of Hispanic students in the 2023-24 school year.

According to Public School Review, Virginia public schools have an average student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1, slightly better than the national average of 15:1. Minority students, primarily Hispanic and Black, make up 54% of the enrollment, while white students constitute 46%.
