Healthy Families and the Mayor's Book Club will dedicate a new Learning and Literacy Garden on Saturday at Bluebird Gap Farm. The garden, funded with the support of a grant from First United Methodist Church of Fox Hill, will serve as a setting for students and their parents to participate in interactive educational activities. They will also be able to play an active role in tending to the garden and observing butterflies and other residents of the space.
The public is welcome to attend the dedication ceremony at 10 a.m. Saturday. Bluebird Gap Farm is located at 60 Pine Chapel Road.
