Hampton Horror Tours will take place on Saturday, October 26, Tuesday, October 29, Wednesday, October 30, and Thursday, October 31. Tours will depart from the museum at 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tickets are priced at $15 per person in advance and $17 per person at the door. Children aged 12 and under can attend for $14 each.
The tours promise new twists and turns as participants embark on a supernatural journey through Hampton's past. The 60-minute tours will feature eerie tales of old Hampton and the Coastal Virginia area. Attendees will hear about the grisly side of Hampton history, encounter surprises, visit St. John’s Church graveyard, and explore other spooky points along Queen Street and Downtown Hampton.
This year's tour introduces a unique element where participants act as jurors deciding the fate of spirits they encounter. Judge “Fear him” Ellis from Level 6 of the Spirit Realm will guide attendees through this experience. Tourgoers will hear cases from tortured souls seeking to move on to the next realm based on the verdicts rendered by the participants.
Each attendee will also receive a free ticket to ride the Hampton Carousel.
