Virginia Marine Resources Commission issued the following announcement on Sept. 23
On Wednesday September 23, 2021, the National Marine Fisheries Service announced the adjustment to the 2021 Winter II commercial scup quota and per-trip Federal landing limit. The Winter II period will run from October 1, 2021 through December 31, 2021. During this period, it shall be unlawful for any person to possess aboard any vessel or to land in Virginia any amount of scup totaling more than 21,000 pounds.
