Teens can be paid ambassadors for city anti-violence program

The Hopeful Hampton Ambassador program is a 12-week initiative for local youth aged 16-19 to earn money and raise awareness about the impact of youth violence. 

The program runs from March 6 to June 8, two days a week, from 5–8:15 p.m., at the Mary Jackson Neighborhood Center downtown. Participants will engage in mindfulness activities, event planning, and group discussions.

All participants will receive meals, transportation, recreational access, and a weekly stipend upon program completion. To apply, you must be a Hampton student age 16-19. All applications are due 20, 2023, at 11:59 p.m.
