Hillary Toroitich finished second in the men’s Royal XC Challenge with a time of 25:57.4 in a field of 223 competitors. The Broncos finished 11th overall but first among CIAA schools in the event hosted by Queens University of Charlotte.

Repline Cheptoo ran her first race of the season and finished 12th (out of 199 competitors) with 10 points for FSU, guiding the Broncos to a third-place finish in the women's Royal XC Challenge. She was the first scorer for FSU with a 5K time of 19:57.8 and an average mile of 6:25.5.
