Each year, libraries seek to highlight the dangers of censorship and celebrate the freedom to read. This year, stop by Main Street Library to check out a Blind Date with a Banned Book. This special display next to the New Book Area will highlight books for all ages. You will be able to se the reasons why a book was banned or challenged, but the title of the book will be a surprise! You may be shocked to learn what has been banned or challenged, and why.
Reading a book off this shelf will count towards the Banned Books Reading Challenge.
