Stratford University enrolls 1,817 undergrads

At Stratford University, 77 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 70 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private for-profit institution in Fairfax enrolled 2,096 students in fall 2018, including 1,817 in undergraduate and 279 in graduate programs, data shows. 6.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

98 percent of undergraduates are residents of Virginia, and 3 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (56 percent) and white (19 percent).
