York County libraries announce closures for Christmas and New Year’s holidays

The Tabb Library and Yorktown Library will be closed from Wednesday to Friday, December 24-26, 2025, in observance of the Christmas holiday. In addition, both libraries will not be open on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, and Thursday, January 1, 2026, for the New Year’s holiday.

A statement from the York County Public Library reads: “The York County Public Library family wishes you and yours peace, joy, and relaxation this holiday season. Stop by either library branch and checkout some good reads or a family game for the holidays. Plus, our digital collection is always available. Visit our Digital Collections webpage to started with ebooks, audiobooks, magazines, comics, music, newspapers, games, and videos. All you need is your YCPL card.”

Library patrons are reminded that while physical locations will be closed during these dates for the holidays, digital resources remain accessible online for those with a YCPL card.
