The Virginia Department of Health has announced updated shellfish closures for several areas. The affected locations include “Poquoson River,” “Chisman Creek,” and “Bennett Creek.” These sites are situated within the City of Poquoson and/or York County. The closures are set to take effect on June 15, 2025.
