On Tuesday, March 11, former Poquoson High School standout Maxim Fritts’ current college team, the Eastern Mennonite Royals, won 13-12 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Messiah Falcons.
The game took place at Royals Field. This was their first matchup against the Falcons this season.
The Royals’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 12 p.m. at James C. Fox Field against Lynchburg Hornets.
James City County is set to begin construction on its new Government Center and Library Addition with a groundbreaking ceremony scheduled for November 12, 2025.
The City Council is scheduled to hold its regular work and legislative sessions on Wednesday, November 12.
