Beginning December 1, 2025, a contractor for Virginia Natural Gas will conduct a main gas line tie-in at the intersection of Wythe Creek Road and Kelsor Drive. The work is expected to last two weeks.

During the project, the right merge lane from Poquoson Avenue onto Yorktown Road will be temporarily closed. Motorists are advised to use caution in the area while construction is underway.

Two Tree Park will remain open throughout the construction period, although some equipment and materials may be staged nearby.
