The first half of 2021: Home prices in Poquoson increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in Poquoson rose by $48,000 while total sales decreased by 38%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were 67 homes sold, with a median sale price of $345,000 - a 16.2% increase over the $297,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 108 homes sold in Poquoson in the first half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Poquoson for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $4,392, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2021.
