Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Sept. 16
"The door for business is always open in Hampton Roads; our door is always open to you." Delegate Emily Brewer, 64th District of the House of Delegates, spoke to attendees at the 2021 Regional Legislative Reception at the Harbor Club in Waterside District this afternoon. The Hampton Roads Chamber is proud to serve this region as an Impactful Advocate, Inspiring Ignitor and Regional Collaborator as business leaders, mayors, representatives, and other various leaders of Hampton Roads were in attendance of the 2021 Regional Legislative Reception.
Delegate Brewer spoke on new innovative priorities benefiting the business community, including the fronts on transportation; "Transportation is a top priority to make sure every business is assured to run in Hampton Roads." Delegate Brewer emphasized that Hampton Roads will be on the agenda, the business community's needs will be on the agenda every day, and the support for employers and employees will always be on the agenda and continue on the path to success.
