Poquoson to host 43rd annual seafood festival with music, vendors, and family activities

The City of Poquoson will host the 43rd Annual Poquoson Seafood Festival from October 17 to 19. The event is described as the city’s yearly recognition of the working watermen of the Chesapeake Bay and the coastal community’s way of life.

Admission to the festival is free, but parking will cost $10 in cash. The festival will include 170 artisans and crafters, over 20 food vendors, rides and activities for children, and live music throughout the weekend. Featured musical acts are Tidewater Drive Band, Good Shot Judy, and The Deloreans.

Festival hours are scheduled for Friday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
