The City of Poquoson has secured an emergency contract with TFC to maintain curbside recycling services through the end of November. This measure aims to prevent any disruption in recycling collection for residents.

Officials have asked residents to continue placing their recycle bins at the curb on their designated pick-up days. The city emphasized that maintaining uninterrupted service is a top priority.

“The City will oversee and manage this emergency contract internally to ensure any concerns or issues are promptly addressed with TFC,” according to the announcement. The Public Works Department is also working toward a long-term solution for recycling services that aligns with the needs of Poquoson residents.

Residents who have questions or concerns about recycling services are encouraged to contact the Public Works Department at 757-868-3598.
