Residents and visitors in Poquoson are invited to participate in the Holiday Shop & Dine event, which runs from November 17 to December 5. The event encourages people to dine at local restaurants and shop at retailers within the city.

To take part, participants must collect three receipts: two from different Poquoson restaurants and one from a Poquoson retailer. The combined total of these receipts should be at least $150. Receipts can be brought to the City Manager’s Office at 500 City Hall Ave, on the second floor.

Those who meet the requirements will receive a limited-edition commemorative ornament celebrating the city’s 50th anniversary. According to organizers, “Promotion runs through 12/5, and ornaments can be collected through 12/8. One ornament per household please.”

The event aims to support local businesses during the holiday season by encouraging shopping and dining within Poquoson.
