James City County’s Department of Social Services is seeking community input to improve its programs. The department, in collaboration with the William & Mary School of Public Policy, has launched a confidential online survey that takes about five minutes to complete.

The department encourages all residents to participate, regardless of whether they have previously received assistance or used services such as SNAP, Medicaid, Child Care, or Housing. Community feedback will help shape future programs and services.

“Even if you have never received assistance or if you have used programs like SNAP, Medicaid, Child Care or Housing, your feedback is important,” according to the announcement from Social Services.

The initiative aims to ensure that the needs and perspectives of the entire community are considered in program development and improvement.
