James City County has released its draft Strategic Plan and is seeking public input through an online survey open until October 20. The plan, shaped by community feedback, will guide future investments, public services, facilities, and the work plans of county departments for the coming years.

According to county officials, “Shaped by community feedback, the updated Strategic Plan will guide future investments, the provision of public services and facilities, and County work plans for coming years. This planning initiative sets out priorities to be incorporated into future County budgets and Capital Improvement Plans, as well as new initiatives undertaken by County departments.”
