Members of the skatepark community, the Spohn Ranch design team, and representatives from James City County Parks & Recreation met on October 9 to review three proposed designs for a new skatepark. After discussion, participants favored Draft #1 with some features from Draft #3. The drafts are available for public viewing on the Warhill Skatepark webpage.
The next step in the process is a virtual final Skatepark Community Design Meeting scheduled for Thursday, October 30 at 6 p.m. During this meeting, the final draft design will be presented to the community. Those interested in attending must register by Monday, October 27 at 11:59 p.m. Registration can be completed at https://www.cognitoforms.com/JamesCityCountyVirginia/SkateparkWorkshopVirtual.
