Holliman Elementary has announced updates for its Parent Teacher Association (PTA) activities. The first meeting of the 2025–26 school year is scheduled for Wednesday, September 10, at 6:15 p.m. in the school library, with an option to join via Zoom. Additionally, preparations are underway for the annual Trunk or Treat event on Saturday, October 18, from 3 to 5 p.m., with a planning committee meeting immediately following the PTA meeting. Families interested in participating are encouraged to contact the PTA via email, and detailed signup information will be distributed later this month.

According to Holliman Elementary, the PTA is offering several ways for families to support the school. September dine-outs are planned at UNO on September 18 and Texas Roadhouse on September 25, where a portion of sales will be donated to Holliman when a flyer is presented. Additional fundraising options include using the Box Tops for Education app and Shop to Give through givebacks.com. Families are also encouraged to join the PTA to assist with events or provide support in other ways.

Holliman Elementary is located at 70 Deborah Road in Warwick, Rhode Island’s Pilgrim Park neighborhood and enrolls about 280 students in grades K-5. The school employs a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) for addressing learning needs and providing enrichment through online platforms and STEM resources. Its mission statement emphasizes academic progress and social-emotional development through culturally relevant instruction.

Warwick Public Schools serves approximately 8,490 students in Rhode Island under Superintendent William McCaffrey’s leadership. The district’s strategic plan for 2023–2026 includes personalized learning, professional development for staff, safe environments, and communication with families. Priorities focus on improving English Language Arts and math proficiency while reducing achievement gaps for students with disabilities.
