The Harvest Festival will take place on Saturday, September 20, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Chickahominy Riverfront Park. Organizers have announced new branding for the event but say it will continue to offer familiar activities for families.

Attendees can expect free activities for children, including face painting, arts and crafts, inflatables, and games suitable for preschoolers. Food trucks and community craft vendors will be present with items available for purchase. The festival also features live music by local bluegrass band Code Blue from 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This year introduces laser tag and free hayrides as new attractions open to all ages. Scarecrow Stuffing returns on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last; the activity costs $20 per scarecrow and includes all necessary materials.

There is no admission fee for the festival, but parking is $10 per car with payment accepted by check or cash only.
