A group of Hampton University track and field athletes participated in competitions in Florida and North Carolina, according to a May 3 announcement. The events took place as the university’s exam week came to an end, with only those students who had completed their exams able to attend.

They trailed teams from four Southeastern Conference schools: South Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, and Auburn.
