The Hampton Roads Planning District Commission (HRPDC) is inviting residents of Poquoson to participate in the development of a regional Climate Action Plan. The commission is working with communities across Hampton Roads to collect input that will help guide future investments and decisions in the region.

Residents are encouraged to share their views on issues such as increasing green spaces, improving transportation options, promoting energy efficiency in schools and homes, and supporting local food initiatives. The HRPDC aims to ensure that Poquoson’s perspectives are included in the planning process.

To gather community feedback, the HRPDC has launched an online survey for residents. Participation can be accessed at https://survey123.arcgis.com/share/c2477d0d929f4f5c8a3763816003b0d9.

“We’re working with our fellow Hampton Roads communities to develop a regional Climate Action Plan—and your voice matters. This plan will help guide future investments and decisions across our region, and we want to make sure Poquoson is well represented,” the commission stated.
