James City County Parks & Recreation is inviting members of the Grove Community to apply for the Neighborhood Advisory Committee. This committee serves as a platform for advocating the needs and desires of community members, including families, youth, adults, and organizations.

Selected applicants will serve a voluntary two-year term with an option to reapply. Applicants must be affiliated with the Grove neighborhood in some capacity, such as being a resident or stakeholder. The service on this committee is unpaid.

The Neighborhood Advisory Committee plans to start meetings in September 2025. These meetings will occur two to four times annually, with additional meetings possible if necessary. Parks & Recreation staff will facilitate these sessions.

Applications are open until August 15. Interested individuals can obtain an application by calling 757-259-5412, emailing [email protected], mailing JCC Parks & Recreation at their Williamsburg address, or completing it online.

James City County Parks & Recreation encourages all interested community members and stakeholders from Grove to apply and contribute to shaping their neighborhood’s future.
