Gloucester County, Virginia, is addressing the effects of a recent cybersecurity incident. Carol Steele, the County Administrator, said that upon discovering the issue, an investigation was launched with the help of external cybersecurity experts to evaluate its scope and impact. State and federal law enforcement have been informed and are being supported in their investigations.
