On Saturday, Nov. 22, former Woodside High School standout Ricky Key, Jr.’s current collegiate team the Virginia Union Panthers lost 24-27 against the California Vulcans in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.

The game took place at Hovey Field at 1 p.m. and was the first matchup against the California Vulcans in the tournament.
