Former Menchville High School standout Brandon Rodgers played on Friday, May 23 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship

On Friday, May 23, former Menchville High School standout Brandon Rodgers’ current collegiate team the Catawba Indians lost 3-6 against the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Newman Park at 6 p.m. and was the second matchup against the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears in the tournament.

The Catawba Indians’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 24 at 6 p.m. at Newman Park.
