On Saturday, Nov. 29, former I.c. Norcom High School standout Twan Merritt’s current collegiate team the Christopher Newport Captains lost 28-42 against the Susquehanna Riverhawks in the NCAA Division III Football Championship.

The game took place at TowneBank Stadium at 12 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Susquehanna Riverhawks in the tournament.
