A sample solicitation permit issued by the City of Poquoson Commissioner of the Revenue is available online. Solicitors are required to carry this permit at all times and must show it upon request.

The city prohibits soliciting between 5:00 PM and 9:00 AM, as well as on Sundays and federal holidays. Residents with questions about solicitation permits can contact the Commissioner of the Revenue at 757-868-3020 during business hours from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. To report suspected violations, residents should call the Poquoson Police Department’s non-emergency number at 757-868-3501.
