The City of Hampton has introduced a new initiative to celebrate its fifth All-America City designation. Large picture frames featuring the All-America City logo have been placed at various well-known locations across Hampton, inviting residents and visitors to take part in a community photo campaign.

The frames are currently available at Buckroe Beach, Mill Point Park (with plans to move it to the Hampton Carousel after this weekend), Bluebird Gap Farm, Sandy Bottom Nature Park, and Air Power Park. Additional frames will be installed at more sites in the near future.

Participants are encouraged to pose within these frames and share their photos on social media using the hashtag #PictureThisHampton by the end of September. According to city officials, everyone who posts a photo will receive a gift, and two participants will be selected to win prize packages.

“Picture yourself in this photo frame at Sandy Bottom, or at similar frames around the city. Post with the hashtag #PictureThisHampton for a chance to win a prize package,” reads an announcement from the city.

The effort aims to foster civic pride and engagement as Hampton marks its achievement as an All-America City.
