The week will kick off with "The Reunion of Hope" at Gosnold’s Hope Park on April 21, featuring athletic games and activities to instill hope in the youth. This will be followed by a community 7-on-7 football competition at the same location on April 22, showcasing the talents of local athletes and offering mentorship opportunities.
"Hope After Dark" on April 23 will bring together college students and special guests at Access 2.0 to discuss community and campus violence, with a registration deadline set for April 20. Additionally, the "City On My Chest Hope Fest" will provide students with a platform to connect with local businesses and entrepreneurs on April 23 for middle school students and April 25 for high school students.
The week will conclude with the "Gala of Hope" at the Virginia Air and Space Science Center on April 26, featuring a dinner, keynote speaker, entertainment, and award recognitions. Formal attire is preferred for this culminating event, and the registration deadline is April 15.
